New Bag

I just made a bag that I'm in love with. I sigh as I type this, because I will put it in my Etsy shop and I will sell it if someone wants it and I will shed a tear when I ship it, that's what I make them for. Now don't be confused I feel something for all the bags I make. I rarely make a bag that has not been asked to be made. But this one just turned out better then I had planned. So we will see, who will get this very special bag.

Thoughts Confirmed

I always thought that my bags are all meant for a particular person. Not that I know who that is, but I feel they are. Like one bag was bought by a friend of my daughters, she loved the bag so much. Turns out the coat I made the bag out of was found by my daughter in a thrift shop where she lives. These girls live across the country from each other and never talked about this coat.
So, I get a request for a bag, like one I make already, but this girl wants it a little deeper, no problem. She also would like it out of red leather. Now I have never seen a red leather coat in the thrift shop, so I get on facebook and implore my friends across the country to go thrifting to help me find one. I get in my old ratty truck and head to the thrift shop myself. I walk in and what is hanging right there, like it was just waiting for me........ a red leather coat! Call it whatever you want, fate, Divine blessing, karma, coincidence I say this coat was meant for her bag.
Now I'm off to the library to get a book on tape. I love to listen while I sew. Then I'm headed upstairs to turn this red coat into a bag this girl will love and use.

The name

So were you wondering where we came up with the name for this site? It came from my all time favorite movie. The first movie I ever got to see by myself as a child. Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory. You see my heaven is going to be Willy Wonka's candy garden and the song "No place I know" will be playing. Go to You Tube and look it up, so wonderful! Makes me feel like I can create anything. I welcome your ideas and inspiration.
